Lénaïc G. Mercier (born in Saintes, March 11, 1986) is a French director, director, photographer and multimedia artist whose career started very early as a junior circus artist.
A graduate of the CinéCréatis School in Nantes, Lénaïc G. Mercier has worked as a photographer, multimedia artist or director with / for artists such as Mylène Farmer, Christine and the Queens, Carla Bruni, Aiden James. .
His work and his particular approach to photography and light are regularly noted by critics and the artists with whom he collaborates.
In 2017, he teamed up for the first time with visual artist Chantal Westby to create an immersive multi-sensory experience titled “FIAT#LUX” at the Agora Gallery in New York. , which led to the founding of their creative and multimedia art studio “Westby & Mercier”, located in Philadelphia.
But if Lénaïc G. Mercier is a visionary multimedia and video director, he is also a talented visual artist. He has developed a dense research work, through films and experimental photographs, in which the recurring themes of architecture, creation, art and craftsmanship play a major role.
