The Land(e)scapes series, produced over a period of more than four years, seems a more concrete expression of what is going on in both Lefeuvre’s painting and his unconscious. The works transcribe the density of time from a mass of memories, while lightening the weight of distressing experiences. Employing the devices of an art form derived from plasticity, the artist also used incongruous tools from his everyday domestic life.

About the Artist
After studying Beaux-Arts in Rennes in the 1990s, he graduated in 2000 from the Camondo School in Paris in architecture and product design.
He traveled to Asia where he opened a creative studio/gallery in Singapore in 2001. In 2004, he became the creative director of Chanel in Tokyo, then Hong Kong ( boutique design and graphic design), while painting at the same time.
It was from 2010, the year marking the beginning of the ink series, that the artist, through landscape and mental architectures, structured his style.
Essentially using ink on paper, he paints with everyday objects from the countries he travels through: kimonos, Japanese wooden shoes, mahjong dices, fabrics, stamps, printing rollers and even piano keys.
Wandering through luminous and abysmal landscapes, his work is an invitation to imaginary journeys.
He exhibits his work from Singapore to Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Brussels, Paris, but also in Italy and Portugal.
