Alex Smetsky is a New York based artist.
His bold yet minimalistic approach ushers him into the spotlight of the Pop Art field. He thrives on new challenges and uses each piece to reinvent himself and his messages. Well-rounded from murals to canvas to sculptures, he often mixes different mediums to create awe-spiring works of art.
His style is best recognized with unique shapes and bright colors with tons of intricate details frolicking all throughout. He brings nostalgic characters to a new age appeal with his detailed techniques.
When not painting, he is the current art director for Popaesthetic, a New York based group of artists that focus on commercial and personal installations.
These days, he is represented by Gallery 23 located in the heart of Chelsea, New York.
